Will my game work?
Compatibility depends on the game, its version, and available modding tools. The projects shown here use specific loaders and custom setups; they aren’t a guarantee that every idea will work. Start with a small change in a game you own. Anti-cheat-protected online clients aren’t supported.
Do I have to know how to code?
You can start with an idea and ask the AI coding agent to research, write code, and help you iterate. You still need to review the changes and test them in the game. Coding experience helps, especially for ambitious projects like cross-game mashups.
Why is the download so large?
It includes the desktop app, local workspace database, Python, Java, Ghidra, ILSpy, and the modding toolkit. Those tools are bundled so you don’t have to assemble an analysis environment yourself. AI assistance and online sharing still need an internet connection.
Can I build on someone else’s mod?
Yes, when the creator shares source under a license that allows it. Continue editing makes your own local copy and preserves its origin. Keep the original license and attribution when you share your version.
