Terms of Service

Effective October 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Mod Anything website, desktop app, and hosted services provided by the Mod Anything team ("we," "us"). By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required in your location. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, use the services only with permission from a parent or guardian. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Production cloud features require an email or supported social account; anonymous cloud accounts are not supported.

Using the app and AI features

Mod Anything helps you discover, install, create, and share mods. Support depends on the game, version, available tools, and individual mod. We do not guarantee that a particular idea, installation, or generated mod will work. AI output can be inaccurate, insecure, or incompatible. Review generated files and commands, back up important files and saves, and test changes before relying on them. You decide whether to approve operations and use generated results.

Acceptable use

Use the services only with games and content you own or are authorized to use, and comply with applicable laws, licenses, and game or platform rules. Do not use the services to:

• Bypass DRM, ownership checks, or anti-cheat protections, or create cheats against other players.
• Distribute malware, stolen content, private information, credentials, or game files you lack permission to share.
• Infringe others' intellectual property, impersonate others, or publish unlawful, abusive, or exploitative content.
• Attack the service, evade security or usage limits, manipulate credit balances, or access another person's account or data without permission.

Your content and shared mods

You retain any rights you have in your submissions and mods. You give us permission to process content as needed to operate requested features, including sending submitted content to AI providers. When you publish content, you also give us a non-exclusive permission to host, reproduce, and distribute it through the service and display its metadata. This permission does not change the rights of game publishers or other contributors.

Share only material you have permission to distribute. Identify the applicable license and preserve required attribution. Other users' ability to modify or redistribute a mod depends on its license; publishing a mod does not automatically make it open source. We may remove content that violates these terms or third-party rights. Removal cannot recall copies already downloaded by others.

Credits and purchases

Some AI and search features use credits. Usage charges vary by model, request size, and enabled tools; an unsuccessful or unwanted result can still consume credits when processing occurred. Review the available pricing before using paid features. When purchases are enabled, prices and purchase conditions are shown before checkout, and the payment provider's terms also apply. Credits are service usage units, not money or a transferable financial asset. Contact us about billing errors or refund requests. Nothing in these terms removes refund or other consumer rights required by applicable law.

Third-party services

Games, mods, AI providers, payment providers, sign-in providers, and linked websites have their own terms and policies. Their availability and compatibility can change. Mod Anything is not affiliated with or endorsed by a game publisher or platform unless explicitly stated. Bundled open-source tools remain subject to their respective licenses.

Availability and responsibility

The service is evolving and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free results. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost data or game progress. This does not exclude liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. We may restrict accounts or remove content for violations, abuse, legal requirements, or security risks. We may update these terms, change their effective date, and provide additional notice for material changes where required. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law.
